Glucoh
Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 November 2026
Glucoh is made by Synikaa (Durg, Chhattisgarh, India). This policy explains what the Glucoh app collects, why, and the choices you have. Write to hello@glucoh.in with any question.
What we collect
- Account: your name and email from Google or Apple sign-in.
- Profile answers you give: who the app is for, age, a self-described sugar condition, your target range and medicine reminders.
- Meals: photos or descriptions of meals you choose to check, and the estimates we return.
- Readings: blood sugar numbers you type in yourself. Glucoh does not connect to any glucometer or sensor.
- Usage and crash data, to understand which parts of the app help and to fix errors.
How we use it
- To estimate a meal's sugar impact. Meal photos and descriptions are processed by our service providers to produce the estimate.
- To show your history, trends and personal food patterns, and to build the report you choose to share with your doctor.
- To share your meals and readings with family members you connect with your family code. They can see your data; only you can change it. You can remove a connection at any time.
- To manage your subscription, through Apple, Google and RevenueCat.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your health information for advertising.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Google Firebase for sign-in, MongoDB Atlas and Cloudflare for storage, Render for hosting). Meal photos are kept private and are only shown inside the app.
Your choices
- Delete any meal or reading in the app.
- Delete your account from Settings, Delete account. This erases your meals, readings and family connections.
- Turn reminders off in Settings or in your phone's settings.
Not medical advice
Glucoh helps you understand food. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Every sugar impact value is an estimate. Always follow your doctor.
Children
Glucoh is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
